About Us - Tony and Karen Cousins

Karen and I were delighted to complete the purchase of The Greyhound Inn, from Paul and Margi, on 14^th June 2010.

As we had been local for 4 years, we were well aware of the excellent  reputation of The Greyhound, in terms of the ambience, and the high quality food offering.  Indeed, that was the exact reason that we decided that the Greyhound would not only make the ideal business, but also our ideal home.

A real community pub, in a delightful village, and frequented by the most friendly crowd of locals that we have ever encountered. It doesn’t get much better than that!

We are very lucky to have two very good chefs, in Jon and Sam, and if there is better food served in a pub in Suffolk, then we are yet to find it!

Tony has been involved in the hospitality business for more than 25 years, both as an operator, and as a supplier. Karen also has a background that includes a stint in the hospitality industry.

We know what we like in a pub, and we like to think that our customers will feel the same way as us.

Paul and Margi are a very difficult act to follow, but we shall do our utmost to build upon the foundations that they laid. Hence, there will be no Juke box, pool table or fruit machines making an appearance at The Greyhound anytime soon!!

We will preserve the real community side of the pub, and welcome everyone that visits us into our lovely pub.
